Frequently Asked Questions

Why is lymphatic drainage important after surgery?

MLD is used to reroute fluid to regional lymph nodes. Our lymph system is a slow moving system and when MLD is performed properly it will decongest the effected area.

How often do you need MLD after surgery?

Every person will have a different treatment plan-pending what surgery you had and how your day to day activities of daily living are. Together we can make a plan tailored to your lifestyle!

Can you have MLD without having surgery?

MLD is a great holistic treatment used to promote the bodys natural detoxifcation process through our lymphatic system. It's a great additive to those looking to have a healthier lifestyle.
